Meet the Team — Westerville, OH

Born and raised in Ohio currently residing in Westerville. A 1992 Graduate of The Ohio State University, College of Dentistry, Division of Dental Hygiene with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene and an area of specialization in health science education and community health.

She started subbing At Dr. Fojas office in March of 2017 and was hired as a fulltime hygienist in July 2018.

She enjoys spending time with her rescue dog Raven a retriever mix. Her other interests are photography, scrapbooking, outdoors, Buckeye football/hockey and The Blue Jackets.

Danielle graduated from Columbus State’s Dental Hygiene program and joined Dr. Fojas’ team in May 2018.

While studying at Columbus State, she also obtained her certifications to provide local anesthesia and nitrous oxide.

Danielle likes working with patients of all ages and backgrounds, and is passionate about expanding her knowledge and skills as a clinician.

She was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, and enjoys living in the city to be close to family and friends.

In her spare time she enjoys traveling, camping, learning Spanish, and serving her community with her church.

Joanna was originally a native Californian, she moved to Ohio in 1983. She started part time for Dr. Fojas in 2003 as his chairside assistant. This is where she developed a growing love for dentistry and was nurtured and encouraged by Dr. Fojas, staff, and friends to take classes to receive specific certifications to restore teeth. She completed her training at The Ohio State University in 2009 and received an Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary (EFDA) certification from the Ohio Dental Board.

As such she can place restorative white and silver fillings. She is dedicated to the same TLC and aesthetics as the Doctor, and fully enjoys her career. She also received her coronal polish certification while studying at OSU. After some kicking and screaming, Dr. Fojas donated his time at the EFDA Clinic and she restored three of HIS teeth. The running joke at the office is that she slapped him around the EFDA clinic to make sure he was numb.

Chellsea was born and raised in Marengo, Ohio. Chellsea joined Dr. Fojas and his team in May of 2021 where she started her career as part of the front office team, she will be the first face you see when walking through our doors.

She enjoys baseball season where she can watch the Cincinnati Reds face off against every team in the league. As a former softball player, her obsession with baseball may make her a little bit more excited when watching.

In her spare time, she likes to hang out with her sister and her new baby niece, born September of 2021. In addition, she is obsessed with binge-watching all her favorite Netflix shows repeatedly.
